In order to add an economic context to our Cochrane Reviews, we sometimes prepare brief economic summaries. To do this, we conduct a search of the literature in a minimum of three databases (MEDLINE via Ovid, Embase via Ovid, and NHS Economic Evaluation Database via crd.york.ac.uk). We work with a Health Economist to identify cost-effectiveness studies and summarise the results of these studies.
