We undertook a comprehensive priority setting exercise with involvement from patients, carers and the general public, as well as dentists and healthcare worker and members of the oral health academic community. We continue to evaluate the results of this exercise in order to prioritise a schedule of work for our team.

Amongst other ongoing Cochrane review work, we are currently conducting the following priority reviews and review updates for the Cochrane Library:

• Restorative materials for direct coronal restoration of permanent posterior dentition: an overview of systematic reviews
• Adverse health effects of exposure to fluoride in drinking water: an overview of systematic reviews
• Community-based interventions for caries prevention in children
• Interventions for replacing missing teeth: prostheses for the edentulous mandible
• Interventions for the prevention of oral mucositis in people undergoing treatment for cancer: photobiomodulation

However, we seek to be agile to global health priorities as they arise, and our list of priority work will reflect this responsiveness.
