Cochrane Oral Health's Global Alliance increases methodological capacity at the editorial base and works strategically with international experts to deliver timely priority reviews. Our partnerships with numerous dental organisations ensure that our research is developed to fit the needs of our stakeholders.
We are delighted to announce the acquisition of a new Global Alliance (GA) partner, the Centre for Dental Education and Research (CDER), based at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences in New Delhi, India.
Not only is the CDER recognised by the Government of India's Ministry of Health and Family Welfare as a National Centre of Excellence for Implementation of the National Oral Health Programme, but they are also distinguished by their status as the World Health Organization (WHO) Collaborating Center for Oral Health Promotion.
They are the only WHO Collaborating Center on Oral Health in the South East Asia region, and are one of 14 WHO Collaborating Centers on Oral Health across the globe.
Cochrane Oral Health's new GA partnership with the CDER is an exciting opportunity, not only due their designated WHO Collaborating Center status, but also on account of their cross-specialty expertise housed within a single institution dedicated to the promotion of dental research.
As the GA’s first partner not based in a primarily English-speaking country, the CDER’s partnership will also significantly enhance Cochrane Oral Health’s ability to ensure our research prioritises the most globally important challenges in dentistry.
If your organisation, or an individual person, would like to become a Global Alliance partner and support Cochrane Oral Health's research activities, please contact us for further information.
